Drainage & Leader Piping

The whole water path — from roof to ground to discharge — as one system.

A gutter system that discharges at the foundation achieves nothing useful. We scope drainage alongside the gutter install so the leader connections, underground piping, and final discharge point are engineered together rather than added as an afterthought. Underground leader connections tie into French drains, area drains, or pop-up emitter runs depending on site conditions and local code.

French drain installation, area drain placement, catch basins, and linear drainage are all within our scope. We trench, lay perforated pipe in filter fabric, grade backfill, and restore surface finish. If the problem is grade-dependent — water pooling against the foundation or running toward the house — we can identify the issue and propose a drainage correction.

We work alongside homeowners and landscape contractors on projects that require coordinated drainage solutions. Leader piping work is permitted where required by local building department and we're familiar with Nassau and Suffolk County requirements for below-grade drainage.
