Overview
Most soffit vents are made of plastic or aluminum. A copper soffit vent can increase the value of your home just by its appearance. Styles include round, rectangular and square ventilation grids, usually pre-manufactured in sizes from 3″ to 8″ round and up to 9″ × 9″ square.
If a standard copper soffit vent does not fit the application, another option is a custom-made copper foundation vent, which can be made in a variety of sizes and mounting styles. Used as a soffit vent, you would probably want a surface-mount type with a frame around the vent. If the standard sizes work, they can be an inexpensive way to improve the look of a home.
